Alvarez & Marsal Inc. Announces Launch of SHP Legal Services
NEW YORK, December 2, 2024 – Alvarez & Marsal Inc. (“A&M Inc.”), the parent company of global professional consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal, is launching SHP Legal Services (“SHPLS”). SHPLS marks a transformational development in services for law firms that serve middle markets. SHPLS, formerly known as Alvarez & Marsal Legal Services, will support these law firms with strategic advice, advanced technology, operational efficiencies, and talent acquisition. SHPLS will also stand up a unit to manage and function as the back-office operations of these law firms.

- Peter Sacripanti, CEO of SHPLS, will drive innovation and long-term growth drawing from his 40 years of experience solving complex challenges and crafting strategies for major corporations. He is the former Chairman of McDermott Will & Emery.
- John Hendrickson, SHPLS Managing Director & US Lead, brings expertise in executive compensation, law firm management and shaping strategic direction and operational efficiency. He is former chair of several management committees at McDermott Will & Emery.
- Christopher Price, SHPLS Managing Director & U.K./EMEA Lead, has led legal practices across UK and EMEA for over three decades. He is a former partner at EY.
